#No Harm Done | Self Harm

Emily Cherry, Head of Participation at the NSPCC, offers advice to parents and carers who are worried about their child self-harming. Tips include: get the right balance between monitoring your child and respecting their privacy; try to get to the bottom of what triggers them to self-harm and then find alternative coping mechanisms and activities to help your child break the cycle.
