Key Stage 3 - Years 7, 8 and 9

At Key Stage 3, pupils acquire and develop their basic skills in a wide range of activities. From the start of the year they carry out activities such as Basketball, Rugby, Hockey, Football, Gymnastics, Badminton, Health Related Fitness, Orienteering, Dance (girls) and Cross Country. When the weather improves and temperatures become warmer, activities such as Athletics, Cricket, Tennis and Rounders are carried out.

GCSE

Pupils at Key Stage 4 study the Edexcel GCSE PE syllabus. Marks that make up the course consist of:

50% Practical

10% Analysis of performance and PEP

40% Theory Exam
