In support of the Anti-Bullying Alliance, Castlebrook High School chose to take part in a nationwide campaign of blue day. The Anti-Bullying Week had Castlebrook pupils focusing on cyber bullying. Activities have taken place in mentor time and citizenship lessons and special assemblies have been held throughout the week. Pupils have signed the Anti Bullying Pledge aiming at eradicating cyber bullying amongst Castlebrook pupils. The money raised will be sent to the NSPCC.
A peer mentor system has been created to provide support for pupils who need it. There are 24 Peer mentors who undertook ten hours of training provided by Bury Youth Service and with advice from the Local Authority Anti Bullying Co-ordinator. Pupils run a safe haven during all breaks for all who wish to use it.
