The school day at Castlebrook High School has 25 lessons, each lasting one hour, across the week. The school operates a two week timetable cycle of 50 lessons.
The school operates a ‘split' lunchtime. This split is determined by the room in which learners have their period 4. This means that learners will have a combination of both ‘early' and ‘late' lunches within the two week timetable cycle.
The lunchtime is split to ensure that all learners have the facility to sit and eat their lunch and the option is provided for learners to go outside should they wish, and should the weather allow. No learner is allowed off school premises at lunchtime.
The times of the school day can be seen below:
The Independent Learning Zone (ILZ) is open after school for Out of Hours Study Club from 3.05 - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 3.05 - 4pm on Fridays. |
