We are a high achieving school and while your child is at Castlebrook we expect them to work hard, put in maximum effort to achieve their full potential as emphasised in our main aim which is to achieve the ‘Best for All.' Our latest OFSTED report (March 2010) endorses this as it states that our learners ‘welcome the effective support they receive as they join the school, choose their course programmes and progress on to post-16 education or training.'
Everything we do at Castlebrook High School is centred on each individual learner, ensuring that they are educated and supported to succeed in the world today.
We expect the highest standards from our learners in all of their achievements, both inside and outside the classroom. At all times we expect our learners to be excellent ambassadors for our school.
We are committed to working in partnership with parents and carers to ensure the best possible education and enrichment for each and every one of our learners.
This is an exciting place to be. Our vertical forms, unique to Bury schools, have created an excellent sense of community within the school. This is enhanced through our House system in which a variety of different Challenge Cup events are held throughout the year.
OFSTED (March 2010) recognised that our imaginative curriculum was a ‘particular strength of the school' and our learners ‘benefit from a highly personalised curriculum.'
We aim to create a community of people, committed to working together to ensure that each learner attains the highest level of achievement including each learner's realisation of his/her potential in public examinations. At the same time we strive to ensure that the education of all learners is held to be of equal importance.
Castlebrook is going from strength to strength - come and join us on our journey - we are always keen and proud to welcome visitors into our school. Please contact Mrs J. Settle, Leadership Team Secretary.
