Castlebrook High School is going from strength to strength! We are very proud of the achievements we have as a school. We would like to take this opportunity to share some of these with you:

The partnership includes Castlebrook High School, Woodhey High School, Derby High School, Bury Grammar Schools (Boys and Girls), Holy Cross College and University of Manchester. Involved in many Science events providing a wealth of enrichment activities.
- Fantastic facilities - newly refurbished Independent Learning Zone, Lecture Theatre and Science labs.
- Vertical forms with learners from all year groups together in form groups providing a strong school community.
- Two year Key Stage 3 providing the opportunity for learners to begin their Key Stage 4 studies in Year 9.
- Excellent range of option courses provided - 27 courses offered across Years 9, 10 and 11. A full range of academic subjects and many vocational courses are offered ensuring that all learners have an appropriate qualification pathway.
- Each learner can choose up to 6 subjects they would like to take to GCSE (or equivalent) level.
- Opportunity to take combination of subjects required for English Baccalaureate whilst still being able to take many subjects of their own choice in addition.

- Every learner has an individual interview in Years 8, 9 and 10 to discuss their option pathways.
- Provision to take one of three pathways in Science (Separate Science qualifications in Biology, Chemistry and Physics; Core and Additional Science and BTEC Science) depending on aptitude and career inspiration.
